Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th that the series was returning to the production. Fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
