The mother of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, a physician, and Thelma Burnell Henson, Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on the 26th of February 1942 at Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. She was a piano prodigy as a teenager and she won the national competition at Chicago Music Festival at just 13 years old. In Fort Collins, Colorado she settled with her family. She attended the high school in Fort Collins High School and graduated in 1960. She relocated to Los Angeles in order to find better job opportunities. Her performance on El Dorado 1966 as the protagonist, Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought greater attention for her. Her acting roles during the 1970s and 1960s made her an acclaimed actor.
